Contracts Specialist

• Study the initial scope ofwork/services in accordance with end-user departmentrequirements. • Lead the drafting and review oftender documents before releasing them to potentialbidders. • Head the bid evaluation team inpreparing clarifications for queries raised bybidders. • Participate in the technicalevaluation of bids. • Review the accuracy andadequacy of contract documents, including performance bonds,insurances, and bills of quantities. • Assist indrafting various reports for management concerning disputes,claims, and tender evaluations. • Evaluaterequests for extension of time, variations, and contractamendments. • Evaluate and negotiate disputes andclaims between the company and itscontractors. • Provide support to SeniorContracts Specialists as requested. • Participatein the training and mentoring of less experienced Qatariemployees. • Perform other duties asassigned.
