- Demonstrate sound knowledge of contemporary ophthalmic nursing practice and theory and participate directly and indirectly in the delivery of clinical care.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and the ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines and standards to ensure clinical practice is evidence based to facilitate positive outcomes
- Manage and be accountable for the day to day operations of the Eye Health in the Torres Strait and NPA and work with the Program Manager of Maternal and Child Health and the Director of Primary Health Care with operational and strategic planning and others as required.
