- Evaluates and improves all aspects of the organizational governance and system of internal controls
- Identifies, analyzes and documents potential issues of fraud, waste or abuse of resources
- Creates an ongoing program and trains employees on activities required to maintain high-quality internal audit functions for the center
- Works in coordination with the organization's risk management teams and with the center's management and other assurance providers to develop risk management framework and risk-based plans
