Duties include:
Assisting with the prototyping phase of N.P.D. development (includes 3D printing, drawing verification and material analysis)
Coordinating cross-functional team activities to optimise cost performance, operating standards and minimising waste.
Providing design for manufacturing input at early stages, coordinating and supporting the implementation of engineering changes to designs.
Supporting project management in cross-functional activity, as well as working closely with senior management.
Identify cost saving opportunities by making improvements to manufacturing methods by streamlining the processes and procedures.
Understand and analyse technical and process problems and identify root causes.
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to read Engineering drawings and parts lists.
Experience working with a range of materials, including metals, plastics and composites.
Mechanically and commercially aware, strong troubleshooting skills and confident using Microsoft packages.
Ability to communicate effectively, prioritise workload and cope under pressure.
Experience in a similar hands on role.
