CCTV Operator

This pivotal role plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and property. Your vigilance, attention to detail, and ability to monitor and respond to potential security concerns will contribute to creating a secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor CCTV systems to observe and report on any suspicious or unusual activities. Maintain continuous surveillance of designated areas within the hotel premises.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance, assessing and addressing security incidents. Coordinate with security personnel and relevant departments to manage incidents effectively.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document and log all observed activities, incidents, and responses accurately. Generate detailed incident reports for further investigation or legal purposes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of CCTV equipment. Report any technical issues or malfunctions for prompt resolution.
• Collaboration with Security Team: Collaborate with the overall security team to enhance surveillance capabilities. Provide support during investigations and security-related activities.
• Compliance with Policies: Adhere to all security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Stay informed about security best practices and industry standards.
• Emergency Response: Assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuation protocols. Communicate effectively with emergency services when necessary.
  

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or surveillance are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security-related role is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and related software. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to convey information to security personnel and management.
• Analytical Abilities: Analytical mindset to assess and interpret surveillance footage effectively.
