Main Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Execute daily operations smoothly, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
    • Monitor and maintain quality control of food and beverage offerings, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
    • Develop and implement efficient processes for order taking, food preparation, and service to optimize customer satisfaction and staff productivity.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and resolving customer issues promptly and effectively.
    • Gather customer feedback and insights to continuously improve offerings and enhance the overall café experience.
    • Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and engagement, such as loyalty programs and personalized service initiatives.
    • Ensure that the café ambiance and cleanliness contribute to a positive and comfortable experience for customers.
  • Brand Standards:
    • Uphold the café's brand identity and values by ensuring that all employees adhere to brand guidelines in appearance, communication, and service delivery.
    • Maintain the café's aesthetic appeal, ensuring visual merchandising and displays are aligned with the brand's image.
    • Oversee the implementation of marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • People Engagement and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to employees, facilitating their professional growth and development.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and gather input on improving café operations.
    • Resolve conflicts and address employee concerns while maintaining a harmonious and motivated team.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets, aiming to optimize costs while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze financial reports, and take appropriate actions to meet revenue and profitability targets.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new products to drive revenue growth.
