• Ensure bunkers are procured at a rate that is attractive to the customers and benefits the company
• Develop an international network to deliver a global service to new and existing clients
• Monitor all operation teams regarding compliance with all regulations and business ethics and following the industry and company policies & procedures
• Develop strategic plans by studying the marketing requirements locally/globaly vis-a-vis financial opportunities, presenting assumptions, recommending objectives
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars/workshops/reviewing professional publications & web sites to review the bunker industry needs (new engine, all types of fuel, blending etc.)
• In charge of bunker supply activities from pre fixture through post fixture of bunker stem and interacting with supplier/brokers, traders and end customers.
• Study, understand bunker market conditions, making price quotations, negotiating deals, processing orders, addressing any customer claims or complaints and handling all customer service related to the sales process
• Maintaining, increasing sales to the key customers locally and internationaly
• Solve any dispute amicably and produce the relevant facts in legal proceedings
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
