Bartender

1. Mixing and Serving Beverages:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and customer preferences.

- Ensure accuracy and consistency in drink preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

2. Customer Service:

- Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and provide recommendations on beverage selections.

- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

3. Menu Knowledge:

- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the beverage menu, including ingredients, flavors, and pricing.

- Educate guests about different types of beverages and make suggestions based on their preferences.

4. Bar Maintenance:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and supplies.

- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed, ensuring availability of ingredients and supplies for service.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with alcohol service regulations.

- Monitor guest behavior and intervene as necessary to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

6. Cash Handling and Transactions:

- Process customer orders accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.

7. Team Collaboration:

- Work collaboratively with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address any issues or concerns that may arise during service.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment, with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and customer service best practices.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact with a diverse range of guests.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of basic math and cash handling procedures.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
