The Etiquette Group is now hiring for a high scale lounge in Pompano Beach, FL. The lounge brings a Taste of Africa. A very unique experience for a more upscale crowd. Creating memories while providing delicious African infused dishes, playing Afro beats music, and delving into the culture through art. Music is a universal language. Being able to walk into a lounge and experience African culture is definitely a great way to create memories. Afro beats music, a great atmosphere, lots of entertainment and a fusion of African cuisine.

We are looking for a General Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will ensure employees are delivering a high-quality lounge experience and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. General manager responsibilities include maintaining the lounge s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  
• Regularly review product quality
  
• Organize and supervise shifts along with bar manager
  
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  
• Manage payroll and accounting
  
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and bar events
  
• Maintain fun and safe atmosphere for customers and employees
  

Skills

• Proven work experience as a General Manager, Bar Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
  
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge (laws and permits)
  
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
