Ophthalmology Research Scientist

Talentry is looking for an experienced Ocular/Ophthalmology Scientist to join a research-stage team.

He or she will perform in vivo and in vitro IND-enabling studies, develop assays, and design, plan, and perform experiments that will help identify, characterize, and optimize the lead biological therapeutic candidates for disease treatment.

The right scientist will be able to work cross functionally, work individually and on a team, perform hands-on experiments and analyze/interpret experimental results.

Our organization is a clinical-stage therapeutics organization with a novel therapy. We have some recent research and investment successes and are looking to grow our small team.

Requirements

MS and 10+ years or Ph.D. and 3+ years.

Demonstrated ophthalmology research.

Excellent documentation and communication experience.

Ocular systems and cell-based potency assay developments are strong preferences.

Extracellular matrix studying and neuronal/neurotrophic cell-assay or human stem cell experience are nice to haves.
