Informational Technology (IT) Jahrah Kuwait Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Associate Director of Application Development and Integration. In this role you will spearhead and mentor a team of application development engineers driving excellence in software development practices and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing development strategies integrating DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and designing robust infrastructure solutions. Additionally you will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of application development engineers providing guidance support and professional development guidelines.
• Define and implement development strategies processes and standards to optimize development workflows and enhance productivity across the organization.
• Collaborate with software development operations and quality assurance teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Establish and maintain automated build test and deployment pipelines using industrystandard tools and technologies.
• Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions for provisioning configuring and managing cloudbased and onpremises environments.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics identify areas for optimization and implement solutions to enhance system reliability availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures and compliance standards within the environment.
• Stay current with emerging trends technologies and best practices in DevOps cloud computing automation and IT operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of Project Management tools like MS Project Jira and Project Management methodologies like Agile Scrum & Waterfall
• 10 years of experience in DevOps or related roles with a proven track record of leading successful DevOps initiatives (preferred).
• Strong technical background in software development system administration and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of middleware programming & tools like Mulesoft or Workato.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of PHP React JS Angular JS Next HTML HTML React Python.
• Experience in UI/UX design & Development.
• Knowledge in Generative AI Neural Networks Natural language Processing.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
