- Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Manage protocols via physical manned guards and technological solutions.
- Responsible for conducting facility security assessments and upkeep.
- Make sure that staff follows security procedures and guidelines through training programs and assessments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols ensuring the safety of staff, customers, and contractors within the workplace.
- Perform security evaluations and inspections.
- Manage the security budget encompassing OPEX (fixed and variable) and CAPEX spends, ensuring no overspend and all charge outs submitted in a timely manner.
- Hire and train staff.
- Manage contractor performance ensuring compliance with the contract is followed.
- Work closely with internal clients ensuring optimum stakeholder management.
- Responsible for conducting security audits and inspections providing Management/client reports.
- Review and update deployment plan as per policy
- Manage rota and team rotation.
- Coordinate and manage overtime spend/allocation.
- Liaise with local police and other law enforcement authorities in dealing with any security-related issues.
- Align and work with other facility departments ensuring a “one team” approach.
- Identify improvement opportunities, in particular harnessing technological solutions.
