Job Description
Education and training:
University degree in Business Administration, Purchasing Management or a related field. Additional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification can be of benefit.
Experience:
Previous experience in procurement and supply chain management. Experience in the hotel or food industries could be beneficial.
negotiation skills:
Ability to negotiate with suppliers and ensure obtaining the best offers and prices.
Team management:
The ability to manage the work team in the purchasing department and direct them towards achieving the department’s goals.
Analysis skills:
Ability to analyze data and information to make informed decisions regarding purchases.
