Role Purpose
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supervising and controlling the team while providing the highest levels of customer service and driving financial performance to achieve the brand and store targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the team to ensure exceptional customer service, leaving a positive impression on all customers.
- Monitor and enhance the gelato preparation and presentation processes, maintaining high-quality standards and brand specifications.
- Execute Venchi’s visual merchandising standards for consistent and appealing shop decorations.
- Implement and monitor hygienic policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate responsibilities to team members for the smooth flow of operations.
- Assist the store manager in achieving the store's sales and profitability targets through proactive collaboration.
- Manage various operational aspects, including participating in opening and closing procedures, conducting maintenance checks, and overseeing shifts.
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Continuously seek and identify opportunities to improve store performance and profitability within the market.
- Recruit, train and motivate, and foster team building among store employees to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management
- 4 to 6 years of experience in F&B operations, out of which 1 - 2 years in a managerial role
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office
