Job DescriptionAssistant Finance ManagerThe Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Assist the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations• Assist with financial audits and tax filings• Provide support to other departments regarding financial matters• Supervise and train finance department staff Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field• 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines• CPA or CFA certification is a plus
