Candidates should have expertise in electronics and communications engineering. The position
will involve teaching and research in the areas including but not limited to analog electronics,
digital electronics (digital logic, micro-controllers, FPGA), embedded systems, RF electronics,
digital communications, digital signal processing, Internet of Things (IoT) and smart devices.
Successful candidates are expected to have:
PhD and Bachelor degrees in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering with
Electronics specializations from a reputed international institution.
Must show proven experience, corresponding to the level of the position, in teaching
and research.
A track record in undergraduate teaching with English as the language of instruction
Willing to pursue high-quality research in their area of specialization.
Must have published research articles in top-tier journals and conferences.
Experience in securing external research funding would be an asset.
Experience in the supervision of students’ projects
Work experience in the Middle East and acute awareness of cross-cultural differences in the worlds of teaching and learning
