We are seeking an experienced Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer to join our team and provide technical support to our customers in the Syngas application . The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our customers' operations by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance across the Middle East and Africa .

Responsibilities

Providing Technical service including Clariant Service Portal

• Plan and execute onsite service of responsible applications such as loading / startup / trouble shooting
• Ensure proper equipment / tools to be used for responsible applications
• Supervise / Operate / Manage the loading machines / tools during technical service
• Provide performance evaluations / predictions / projections
• Conduct customer's operating optimization to achieve maximum catalysts' performance
  

Sales Tandem Partner

• Support sales with existing customers by organizing frequent technical meetings
• Analyze and understand client's technology in detail, offer appropriate technical solution
• Conduct technical communication / calculations and responsible for the documentation of results.
• Collecting data, market information from the customers
  

Knowledge management

• Improve the understanding of value proposition of responsible applications
• Liaise with technical advisors / production manager / sales, contribute to compilation and maintenance of Design Guidelines / Operating Manual
• Contribute to compilation and maintenance of Design Guidelines
  

Group support & Training

• Develop training programs for both technical service engineers and sales managers
• Support other applications as required to cover their technical service
• Support other regions as required to cover their technical service
  

Requirements

Educational Background:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering ,Chemistry field or Chemical technology.
