- As a consultant anaesthetist, you will join a team of consultants, specialists and residents to provide a fully comprehensive service in a private general hospital to in patients, out patients and day case patients. Your scope of practice will encompass the pre-operative assessment of patients for surgery, the provision of general and regional anaesthesia services and the management of post operative complications. Intensive care duties are not required. Surgical services include general surgery, urology, orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, gynaecology and endocrine surgery.
