Senior Project Manager Technology & Change
REMOTE / Manchester
Salary Neg DOE - Permanent
- 20% contribution to pension and final salary pension!
- 29 days leave + bank holidays + shut down at Christmas (2 weeks) this year shut down from 23rd December to 4th January!
- Remote working circa 1-2 days per week on site (Greater Manchester)
- Backgrounds Police, Fire Service, PubSec, Higher Education / Large consultancies / very large organisations.
We have a 2-year FTC requirement. It s for a senior PM on our clients Student Experience programme. We are looking for a person with Technical experience working on a similar scale of programme.
I have included some key requirements below. We are looking to hire immediately!
- Good technology background in particular exposure to ERP, CRM or HR system upgrades - actual experience on Campus Solutions is a definite bonus
- Able to manage teams under pressure sensitively / able to juggle multiple key resource dependencies
- Exposure to Agile / iterative delivery (desirable - ability to coach and support further development)
- High governance or regulated industry background / exposure to privacy by design a bonus
- C-suite stakeholder management
This is for a large programme working on improving Student Systems, Processes and Structures. It is a G8 so salary sits between 53k and 63k but we will consider higher depending on experience.
The role involves management of a number of Project Managers working on distinct initiatives across the portfolio. The initiatives by their nature may well be complex, involving significant people, process and technology changes. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to demonstrate the value of utilising methodologies, without allowing programme and project management to become the project, will be key to keeping stakeholders engaged and the team adequately supported.
You ll have significant experience of applying best practice project, programme and change management methodologies across the full lifecycle whilst leading a team of Project Managers and other PMO professionals working on separate initiatives. You will be supporting their development through coaching, mentoring and management of objectives.
