Job Description
Education and Qualifications: It is preferable for a sales engineer to have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field related to the products or services he is selling.
Technical expertise: a deep understanding of the products or services one sells, and the ability to explain technical concepts in an easy and clear way to customers.
Selling skills: The ability to build strong relationships with customers, analyze their needs, and convince them of the usefulness of the products or services offered.
Knowledge of the sales process: Good understanding of the sales process, negotiations, and sales lifecycle management.
Personal skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a sales team and deal with different segments and cultures.
