Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer ACT Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical service including onsite support and troubleshooting

• Plan and execute loading, startup, and troubleshooting for responsible applications.

• Ensure proper equipment and tools are used during technical service.

• Supervise and manage loading machines/tools for efficient operation.

• Prepare technical proposals and agreements, along with performance evaluations and projections.

• Conduct customer operating optimization to maximize catalyst performance.

• Collaborate with sales as a tandem partner, offering technical solutions and supporting existing customers.

• Analyze and understand client technologies, providing appropriate technical solutions and documentation.

• Contribute to knowledge management by improving understanding of value propositions and maintaining design guidelines.

• Develop training programs for technical service engineers and sales managers.

• Provide support for other applications and regions as needed.

Education

Minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience of plant operation or catalyst technical service in chemical plant, at least 3 years’ experience in Petrochemical plant.

Additional Qualifications/ Skills

• Good computer skills and knowledge of standard technical programs;

• Commercial attitude;

• Fluent in English.
