Planning Engineer

• Design/Organize and run a system to ensure alignment between Sales requirement and factory capacity (Machines Capacity & Raw Materials)
  
  

Areas of Responsibilty

Procurement Management

• Establish order’s forecast plan related to the various suppliers according to the Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) and Scheduling Meeting
• Calculate the net requirement for Raw Materials according to the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
• Review raw materials shipments and manage supplier alerts with Purchase Team
  
  

Inventory Management

• Review daily with Logistic Officers raw materials movement daily
• Analyse deviations (Overconsumption,…)
• Manage ABC matrix & related actions (obsolete items management/reporting)
• Propose alternative solutions in case of shortage
• Ensure raw materials availability for the weekly production schedule
• Issue to carpentry drums preparation needs and follow-up the achievements
• Participate to the Scheduling Meeting/S&OP for critical raw material issues
  
  

Plant Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) Management

• Define and Update the technical product families of the plant (according to main bottlenecks)
• Deploy S&OP forecast and Machine Schedule Load visibility
• Run simulation orders in Scheduling software and measure impacts when required
  
  

Master Production Scheduling Management

• Manage plant bottleneck (loading and feeding)
• Ensure the schedule feasibility by identifying capacity, resources and available inventories
• Supervise with Production and Support Functions (Maintenance, Quality...) daily output with a particular focus on commitment, bottleneck management and inventory level respect
• Make sure that customer expectations is well known at shop floor level
