Job Description
Bachelor's and Master's Degrees: Working as a teaching assistant often requires at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and preferably a master's degree in the desired specialty.
Work experience: Some places may prefer previous experience in research, teaching or practical field work in the field of mechanical engineering.
Technical skills: These skills include good knowledge of programming, design and modeling using programs such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and the ability to use other engineering software.
Personal skills: These skills may include the ability to communicate and deal with students and colleagues, and the ability to manage time and work independently.
