A Food and Technology Teacher is responsible for delivering high quality teaching on food, cooking and nutrition with the aim to help students develop a broad base of skills through practical and theoretical work across all Key
Their key duties and responsibilities include:
Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food and Technology (with an option to teach KS5)
Developing, maintaining and stimulating pupils curiosity, interest and enjoyment in food and nutrition
Developing students familiarity, competence and confidence within a safe workshop environment
Motivating students to contribute and engage in extra-curricular Design and Technology activities
Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical Food and Technology exams
Requirements
