As an Assistant Accountant you will be exposed to varied industries and sectors encompassing a wide range of corporates, listed businesses, OMBs and SMEs through to not for profit, charity and other niche, specialist sector clients, providing statutory accounting, bookkeeping, management accounting and tax
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Preparation of financial statements for SME s, FRS102
- Basic preparation of Corporation Tax
- Ad-hoc bookkeeping duties for our accounts clients using software such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks or our client s software as
- Preparation of periodical management accounts for our accounts clients and reporting in their required
- Client VAT Return
- Adhering to deadlines or at least notifying the client and Manager where problems are likely to
- Take responsibility for your work and must be able to multi task in an organised
- Helping others within the department and acting as a team
Requirements
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience and have previously worked within an Accountancy ;You will have a minimum of 1 years experience within an accountancy practice
