What does a Senior Group Accountant at Collinson do?

The Senior Group Accountant is an important role that will be part of a small team that delivers the group consolidation, designs and implements internal reporting processes, provides technical accounting advice and oversight on financial controls, and supports on a variety of ad hoc finance

Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:

• Involvement in key reporting cycles for month end, forecast and budget including supporting on the Group consolidation and the design and implementation of reporting processes;
• Involvement in the group yearend audit process, including assisting in the project management of the global audit processes and liaison with external auditors
• Preparation of Group consolidated accounts and UK subsidiary accounts;
• Preparation of accounting analyses for complex contracts and transactions;
• Maintenance of suite of Group Technical Accounting Policies and Financial Control Policies, and development and embedding of associated training programmes;
• Central point of contact to provide technical accounting advice and support to regional and divisional finance teams on complex accounting issues and areas of judgement;

How will you make a difference as a Senior Group Accountant at Collinson?

• You will be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or overseas equivalent) with at least 4 years PQ experience with working knowledge of You will have experience in group consolidation and reporting in a large multinational company, either in audit or through a similar role in industry
• Knowledge/experience of complex multi-currency consolidations
• Demonstrable experience in reviewing and implementing financial control enhancements
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
