Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Media Production Manager to support our videography and photography department. The Production Manager would be in charge of seeing video and photography projects through from concept development to post-production & delivery. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations related to video and photo deliverables in monthly retainers are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Operations Manager and work with Clients directly and coordinate with the Client Services and Social Media teams on day-to-day operations of the production department
  • Manage and oversee video and photo pre-production planning and on-site production activities
  • Ensure delivery of a high-quality product on time and within budget
  • Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients
  • Supervise additional staff during video production
  • Coordinate with Influencers, Models and Talent Agencies as and when required
  • Ensure all projects are on schedule
  • Identify best practices for production departments and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Oversee media collection to ensure all media is archived and backed up appropriately and can be readily obtained

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a production environment)
  • Knowledge of shooting and editing videos
  • Demonstrated knowledge of video editing software platforms and processes
  • Knowledge of video production equipment
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment and “go the extra mile”
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as required

Reporting: This position reports to the agency Operations Manager.
