Job Objective:

Are you an industry visionary and technologist at heart with a passion for designing complex Cloud solutions? Are you able to guide and advise business and IT teams on the technical and organizational challenges of Cloud transformation? This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Head of AWS Cloud to build a highly skilled and engaged team within this Centre of Excellence across the region on design, build and cloud migration solutions and the wider AWS portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to position yourself in the center of the management team with a view of helping build out the Practice during this very exciting time of growth. The role holder shall develop and lead an experienced and credible, outcome focused consulting team that matches the Beyon Solutions organizational objectives through building strong relationships with AWS and its partners, and internal stakeholders and ensuring that our colleagues are at the forefront of innovation and technology. Through a strategic development program and by driving the consultative engagement that focuses upon outcomes for clients, it will position Beyon Solutions as the trusted partner of choice across the region for design, deliver and manage solutions. As the person responsible for the Beyon Solutions and AWS partnership, you will develop a strong relationship with the AWS team and recommend and execute on our joint strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic:

• Understand the changing landscape of the industries and vertical Beyon Solutions customer operate in and provide insight and proactive thought leadership, both internally and externally.

• Support the development and implementation of a strategic direction through the creation of value-added partnerships, product and solution capabilities relating to AWS.

• In a collaborative manner with the CTO and your peers; define and agree capacity requirement based on analysis of customer needs, demand and ever-changing industry trends. Furthermore, as part of this working group, define the strategy and direction for resourcing requirements (Internal, Partner, Other), and implementation, in order balance our capacity with demands.

Operational:

Assist with the qualification of business opportunities through detailed discovery process.

• Work with the virtual bid team to support tenders, completing bid responses/answering technical questions for customers and prospects.

• Assist the Sales team during proposal presentations and address technical queries related to the solutions

• Review the technical and commercial proposals for clients; make recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the solutions

• Review the scope and the concept of technical solution to ensure all the client requirements are adequately addressed

• Undertake execution of any project/ initiative for the department and organization as identified from time-to-time.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in own work area and provide guidance to team / peers and support in the achievement of operational and revenue targets

• Undertake initiatives to improve processes in assigned area of work

• Take ownership of resourcing decisions, hiring decisions and principles within the Solution Consultancy and Solution Engineering department to foster multi-skilled, market relevant expertise that can be effectively deployed across the organization.

• Build a collaborative relationship between the Solutions Consulting team and Account Management team to deliver a consultative outcome led sales approach.

• Accurate and timely reporting and communication of the business opportunity status to the leadership team.

• Support the Marketing and Sales teams in preparing a library of Sales Collateral and materials for use by Solutions and Sales teams.

Financial:

• Lead the identification and positioning of the solutions to address client requirement and contribute to the revenue of the business.

• Review pre-sales funnel progress on proposals in pipeline and on deal closures.

• Support the achievement of AWS aligned revenue generating business in all Beyon Solutions jurisdictions.
