- Ensuring that all applications developed by their team align with the organization's business objectives.
- Functioning closely with other departments to understand their needs and requirements and develop applications that support the overall goals of the organization.
- Implementing IT strategies that support the long-term goals of the organization, identifying emerging technologies and trends that could benefit the organization and develop plans to incorporate these into their applications.
- Managing development and testing lifecycle and development of software applications.
- Coordinate closely with Business Analyst to understand application requirements of the business.
- Managing the development of all software applications within their department, ensuring that applications are developed according to established standards and procedures.
- Overseeing the maintenance of all applications within their department. Ensure that applications are functioning properly, and any issues or bugs are resolved quickly.
- Handling the budget allocated to the Applications Management Department, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Setting performance goals and objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to help team members improve their performance.
- Building and fostering a cohesive and collaborative team that works well together and have a sense of teamwork and encourage staff to share knowledge and expertise.
