VAT Specialist

• Review, update and finalize VAT compliance processes. Work with the Head of Tax Compliance to ensure all processes work alongside existing corporate tax processes.
• Assist the IT and Finance departments with the introduction of VAT, to ensure that the (and its affiliates) processes and IT software are ready for the introduction of VAT. Provide education and guidance to the and its affiliates Finance teams.
• Work with the General Tax Authority s VAT department, in coordination with the Tax Department, to ensure that the VAT processes are properly implemented in the GTAs VAT IT tool.
• Prepare and present VAT educational sessions to firms.
• Any other tasks related to the rolling out/implementation of VAT, as directed by the Head of Tax compliance and/or the Managing Director of Tax.
Upon the introduction of VAT
• Handle and monitor all VAT compliance processes including; monitoring firms who are required to register for VAT, forced VAT registrations and ensure that these are administered in an efficient and fair manner.
