Tax Manager

• Manage Direct taxes including withholding tax -Responsible to ensure compliance for all direct tax related matters for the local legal entities / local branches
• Manage Indirect Tax (including ensuring all VAT Compliances)
• Management of Transfer Prices - Ensure compliance with TP policy of the Group in line with local country Transfer Pricing legislation & file Transfer pricing relating document as per local requirements
• Responsible for computation of Income Tax/Advance tax/tax Provisions/Deferred tax, undertake tax reporting & comply with related SOX Controls
• Manage Tax assessments / Tax audits, handle direct & Indirect tax litigation, appear before authorities & Independently deal with consultants/ lawyers
• Interface with Statutory Auditors and support finance team in finalization of statutory audits
• Provide strong support to Management in business planning & strategizing in all tax matters
• Develop sound understanding of business & partner with business and provide timely support in decision making, with close co-ordination with the business teams to monitor and manage tax risks
• Coordinate with Regional & Global tax team, share required details and imbibe best practices
• Keeping up to date with changes in all tax related compliance requirements and sharing knowledge and updates
