- Assist in the preparation and updating of the agency’s corporate plan;
- Assist in the analyst of data on corporate performance indicators and determine factors that may have affected agency performance;
- Undertake preliminary analysis and evaluation of sectoral thrusts and strategies;
- Monitor change in internal and external policies, programs and factors affecting agency operations;
- Assist in the preparation and updating of the long-term indicative irrigation development program;
- Update the projection on national and regional status of irrigation development;
- Analyze trends in rice production and yields; monitor development in the rice situation of the country;
- Conduct research and analysis on current situation and existing policies;
- Assist in identifying and review of key result areas and performance indicators;
- Analyze agro-socio-economic trends; determine possible effects on the agency;
- Perform other related functions.
