It is an exciting time to work in the field of AI to create a longlasting impact. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer you will play a pivotal role in developing machine learning (ML) models and systems to manage diverse financial risks and challenges. Your expertise in data engineering and analytics will drive our organizations success in areas such as Open Banking Credit Scoring Financial Fraud Detection and more.

As a Senior Data Engineer your daily workload might include:

• Collect analyze and interpret large datasets from various sources.
• Collaborate with the Data Scientist team to provide data insights for ML model development.
• Develop deploy and monitor ML models and systems ensuring their efficiency accuracy and reliability.
• Design and maintain efficient ETL pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark and Snowflake.
• Influence architecture and database design decisions.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data engineering processes identifying opportunities for automation efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Data Engineers Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of datadriven initiatives.
• Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering ML models and FinTech industry practices and apply this knowledge to enhance our data capabilities.

Requirements

Our target profile is candidates with

• BS or MS in Data/Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience with cloud data infrastructure.
• Proficiency in cloud data infrastructure such as AWS or OCI.
• Indepth knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Proficient in data analytics and intelligence emphasizing the automation of data mapping collection aggregation transformation and visualization processes.
• Extensive expertise in preparing and merging diverse datasets for machine learning models used in classification estimation and segmentation.
• Proficiency in Python SQL and data manipulation across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI Tableau).
• Strong ETL development skills and adherence to best practices.
• Proficiency in observability and alerting technologies (e.g. Grafana Prometheus).
• Experience in automating deployment in CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with data lakes and data mesh architectures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be Humble Excellent Relevant with a high sense of Ownership.
