- To ensure all work carried out under his control conforms with codes and practices in accordance with the project requirements and meets all requirements of the contracts specification and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets and procedures. Liaise with members of other disciplines and departments in the construction process as required to finalise, Prepares material take-offs/Bills of Quantities (MTOs/BoQ) for his workscope as directed by supervising staff. Provides input to the Civil/Structural Scope of Work narratives for construction scope definition as required by project needs. Preparation of Calculations and Philosophies including checking of others’ work including that of designers.
