Planner

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a Solar Planner. The Solar Planner will play a key role in the design and planning of solar energy systems ensuring that projects are efficiently executed and meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or related fields with specific experience in solar energy system design and planning.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for solar energy system design.
• Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans and layouts for solar PV installations.
• Collaborate with engineers architects and other stakeholders to ensure that solar energy systems are designed to meet project requirements and local building codes.
• Analyze shading orientation and other factors to optimize the performance and efficiency of solar PV systems.
• Prepare technical documentation including drawings specifications and installation manuals.
• Provide support to project managers and installation teams throughout the implementation phase addressing any designrelated issues that may arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends best practices and technological advancements in solar energy system design and planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering architecture or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar energy system design and planning.
• Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or similar programs.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Familiarity with local building codes regulations and permitting processes related to solar PV installations.
• Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
