Job Description

Business :
• Recommend budgets for areas and shops and discuss them with division heads and brand managers.
• Review shops KPIs and performance (sales vs. targets, stock reports... etc) and communicate to area managers and shop managers.
• Benchmark shops against each other, set/reset/clarify objectives and identify Best Practices monthly.
• Review salaries and incentive schemes for shop team in liaison with Finance and HR and make recommendations wherever required.
• Translates the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit.
• Maintain, seek, utilize and analyze management information including EPOS (electronic point of sale) data to manage performance, seize opportunities and make informed management decisions, taking appropriate remedial action as required to reach and maintain retail budgeted sales and net income contributions to develop and drive the business
• Ensure all stores are efficiently and effectively managed, visiting them regularly, and monitoring their compliance with policy, procedure and standards
• Understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies.
• Develop, implement, review and monitor the budget.
• Instigate and implement new policies and working practices in conjunction with Country Manager and to undertake responsibility for ad-hoc initiatives, as and where appropriate.
• Constantly develops innovative ideas for sell thru performance to achieve bottom line sales budget against monthly targets.
• Communicate regularly with the team and manage them appropriately and dealing with issues as they may arise in professional efficient and thorough manner.
• Responsible for building a strong sales management culture with the area team.
• Ensure to work closely with the HR Manager to ensure people management issues are satisfactorily resolved and relevant HR policies and procedures are adhered.
• Lead, manage, train and develop Retail Area Manager & Store Managers to agreed procedures and standards.
• Effectively communicate with the Retail Management, cascading information as relevant.
• Promote a customer care approach within the retail business, investigating complaints or issues of poor customer care, both timely and efficiently.
• Proactively manages and reviews the performance and progress of the area / store managers and their regions.
• Ensure to work closely with L& D Manager to develop individual training plans for the team.
• Generates ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the competitors.
• Ensure all stores adhere to compliance requirements as per local law in all areas of operational activity.
• Responsibility for maintaining stores to an acceptable standard, complying with both safety standards and planned preventative maintenance.
• Working with contractors, to ensure store refits are carried out in accordance with local guidelines meeting relevant time schedules, and ensuring store standards are maintained on an ongoing basis
• Staff planning, recruiting, developing, career path setting, operational & administrative routines setting.
• Working closely with the head office and Brand team to implement new Brand and Operational Ideas. To ensure meeting overall brand objectives.
• Constantly Training and developing core competencies of shop managers, identify individual needs and setting PIPS, PDPs as per annual result.
• Study and report market and competition behavior to set and manage collection and price strategy.
• Stock management, maintaining ideal store capacity, stock consolidation and replenishment, Shrinkage control, damage control and implementing Pre- retailing standard.
