Materials Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop new materials or improve existing ones to meet specific requirements.
• Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the properties of materials such as strength durability and thermal properties.
• Analyze data and interpret results to make recommendations for material selection or process improvement.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure that materials meet performance cost and manufacturability targets.
• Stay current with advancements in materials science and technology to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Provide technical support and expertise to resolve materialsrelated issues in production or product performance.
• Participate in the selection of suppliers and materials sourcing activities.
• Document research findings test results and material specifications in reports and technical documents.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of materials testing and experimentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Materials Science Metallurgical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of materials science principles including structureproperty relationships and material characterization techniques.
• Proficiency in materials testing methods such as mechanical testing spectroscopy microscopy and thermal analysis.
