Laboratory technician is responsible of laboratory-based tasks, which include sampling, testing, measuring, recording, & analyzing results in biological, chemical, physical & life also to provide all required required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively whilst adhering to correct procedures & health /safety laboratory technician will carry out fundamental test as part of a scientific ;
- Adheres to departmental policies and procedures to include department programs, quality control and
- Preparing lab in accordance with the experiments received from departmental
- Responsible for re-arrangement the labs after each practical ;
- Photocopy worksheets of the ;
- Keep labs clean and ;
- Inform lab director with any problems within the ;
- Receiptitems and various tools from the main ;
- Submitting updated list for items and tools at the end of semester and a list of broken items and damaged equipments to the head of the ;
- Participates in departmental training ;
- Check all contents of spill kit are available and to clean the spill if accidently some biological or chemical material is ;
- Arrange and keeplab contentsin safe area away from the students after the ;
- Ensuring that the lab is well ;
- Recording the daily temperatures of refrigerators and ;
- Manage the biological waste with the SEPCO Company for waste ;
- Disinfect the lab after every lab session with ;
- Making sure that all lights and gas connections are closed before leaving the
Requirements
Education:
- An earned Bachelor degree from a reputable university in relevant
- Certified training in the specialization is an added
Skills:
- Knowledge oflab procedureand
- labexperienceinundergraduate
- Experiencehandlingadministrativedutiesefficiently and
- Effectiveoralandwrittencommunicationskills Possessthoroughknowledge andunderstandingofacademicmanagementsystemsandthewiderhighereducation environment,includingequalopportunity
- Proficient intheuse ofdashboard,computers,and computing
