Hydraulic Technician

1. Performs unit level hydraulic/neudraulic maintenance on aircraft systems and subsystems.
2. Removes/replaces/troubleshoots hydraulic/neudraulic components on aircraft systems and subsystems.
3. Disassembles repairs, reassembles, and adjusts hydraulic/neudraulic components on systems and subsystems of the CH-47 aircraft.
4. Applies corrosion preventative procedures. Cleans, preserves, and stores hydraulic/neudraulic components.
5. Uses and performs operator maintenance on hydraulic/neudraulic equipment, common and special tools.
6. Maintains facilities for storage of returnable and hazardous materials.
7. Requisitions and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of hydraulic/neudraulic systems and subsystems.
8. Prepares requests for turn-in and repair parts for hydraulic/neudraulic components.
9. Uses common measuring tools necessary for performing the tasks described herein, precision measuring tools and alignment fixtures.
10. Assists Customer in the requisition and maintenance of shop and bench stock items for repair of above-mentioned systems.
