Fitness Trainer

Job Summary
The Fitness Trainer provides fitness advice, inductions and suitable programs for all our gym members. This position is responsible for the smooth and safe operation and customer satisfaction within the gym environment. He/she also support the leisure classes, activities and letting of the facilities.

• Provides excellent customer service in all areas of the gym environment, ensuring the highest possible standard of service.
• Offers professional high-quality fitness advice and instruction.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment for participants
Roles & Responsibilities
• Builds effective rapport and relationships with our members in order to achieve their individual goals.
• Carries out gym consultations to the recognized industry standards and design training programs for our members.
• Teaches and demonstrates safe and effective exercises.
• Ensures the gym equipment is correctly used.
• Conducts daily inspection of all fitness equipment and document it. Maintains and clean all equipment.
• Provides advice on nutrition which can improve lifestyle.
• Engages with customers of all ages and abilities through good interaction and encouragement to ensure the on-going use of our facilities.
• Oversees safety and enjoyment of our customers whilst using the gym facilities.
• Enhances the reputation of our services and facilities.
• Enforces all facility and program policies and ensure safety standards are met.
