Functional Skills

• Six Sigma Green belt certified.
• Copper, Aluminium, Cable knowledge & its application.
• Physical & chemical properties of metal. (Able to corelate the TC values with its performance).
• Operation knowledge / Managerial skills / Able to prepare capability matrix’s / Cost benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant standards (Indian, British)
• Analytical & communication skills.

Primary Responsibility

• Ensuring the Right Conductivity of Aluminium, Alu. Alloy rods from the Rolling mill by Vendor TC analysis and ensuring the proper mix of Ingots into the Rolling mill.
• Conducting trials for standardization of Copper, ATC, Aluminium and Alu. Alloy conductors for their weight and conductivity.
• Conducting trials of New Product developments for Railways, Automotive, exports Jobs & other parties and NPD up to conductor stage.
• Preparation of monthly weight analysis summary report of UH-1, UH-2, UH-3A, UH-3D, UH-3H, UH-4 units.
• Review monthly Copper & Drawing machine performance report.
• Taking Strategic initiatives to optimize the resources and improve the conductivity of Copper, Aluminium and ATC through periodic vendor Assessment and monthly MIS to get consistent material.
• Prepare all the relevant documents for vendor assessment & development & its process capability matrixs.
• Handling enquiries on domestic & export orders

Secondary Responsibility

• Involved in all the trials, which is required for assessing the vendor quality.
• Comparative analysis of all vendors & their quality assessment on periodic manner.
• Constant monitory of conductor results for periodic amendments of Designed Data sheets.
• Involved in new projects related to continuous improvement of product quality.
• Providing trainings related to Work instructions, SOPs to the fellow workers.
• Co-ordinate with all the departments to speed up the implementation of suggested improvements.

ACCOUNTIBILITY & AUTHORITY

• Metal conductivity improvement / Process standardization.
• Strengthen the process & product quality & adherence of relevant SOP’s.
• Accountable for conducting trials and analysing the trial results.
• Stop any process that is potentially unsafe.
• Stop work or processes not conforming safety procedures.
