Digital ID Support Team Leader

Thales in Qatar is part of our Middle East business that has 1,800 people across Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, KSA, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar and UAE. Our people are working on two major urban rail projects; the Doha Metro and Lusail Tramway and providing security and communications systems for Hamad International Airport and Doha Port as well as delivering world-class In-Flight entertainment and Connectiivity systems. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIE • Be accountable on the design and quality development of solutions. • Responsible for the validation, integration and deployment of solutions developed by Thales delivery Centers. o Writing and performing manual and automated tests, o Recording and tracking defects and verifying fixed defects, o Performing regression and non-functional testing, o Performing acceptances (internal and with customers) • Assist customers in troubleshooting and solving incidents by executing in depth analysis of Thales solutions or escalating to the Level 3 team, only if needed. • Remaining highly organized and meeting deadlines. • Lead a team providing PKI operations support and Digital ID Thales applications support including investigation, analysis, development, testing and deployment. • You will perform a specific PKI role assigned to you in a managerial context and execute day to day PKI operations as per documented operational check lists. • Strong technical skills to optimize the architecture, code, data structure, bandwidth, memory, and CPU use of the servers. • Responsible for adhering to the development process and security guidelines for each delivery. • Responsible for producing the documentation related to quality guidelines and validating documents from the developers. • Integration and support for Level 2 maintenance team for the deployment and stability of the delivery. • Participate in product migration and deployment at customer sites. • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security threats in a distributed environment. • Train customers and other Thales team members on the solution and technology whenever required.
