Job Description 1. To program the computer to engrave or cut materials using the laser and router machines to precisely meet specifications and ensure safe and efficient use of equipment and materials.

2. To perform quality control measures on finished work to ensure it meets production standards, job specifications and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. To maintain the safe operation of the laser and router machines by following strictly manufacturing guidelines for operation and identifying any potential problems which could result in damage to the machines or unnecessary downtime.

4. To liaise with materials and other departments to ensure that all resources are used in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

5. To assist the R&D staff in costing and setting performance standards for the laser/router machines.

6. To ensure safe and healthy working practices which minimize risks of accidents and damage to equipment and tool
