- Serves as an assistant special security representative (SSR) supporting a DoD client in the Middle East.
- Establishes and maintains successful working relationships with government agencies and internal customers.
- Implements, and maintains compliance of security plans and procedures in accordance with the NISPOM, ICDs, JAFAN, NSA COMSEC, etc.
- Briefs executive management on security matters.
- Ensures security contract deliverable requirements lists (CDRL) are submitted in a timely fashion and draft/track DD Form 254.
- Maintains awareness of new/changing laws/regulations; continually reviewing and monitoring status of security policies, procedures, and programs for compliance and the organizations needs.
- Enforces standards for a secure environment for the protections of personnel, property and information.
- Develops, implements, and provides security awareness training for personnel. Responds to after hour alarms or emergencies.
- Maintains, operates, manages, and disposes of classified information systems in accordance with security policies and procedures.
