Accounting Clerk Job Description: • Verify figures, postings, and documents to ensure accurate entry, mathematical precision, and proper coding. • Maintain an organized and secure system for all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents, following established policies and procedures. • Record, store, access, and analyze financial information using computerized systems. • Create and maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets to manage financial and accounting data effectively. • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data, utilizing journals, ledgers, and computer software. • Prepare, maintain, and distribute various financial reports and tables, including statistical, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports. • Execute month-end closing procedures and generate associated reports as per company guidelines. • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements in accordance with company policies and procedures. Requirements: • Proven experience in a similar role or relevant educational background in accounting or finance. • Strong proficiency in numerical accuracy and attention to detail. • Familiarity with accounting software and electronic spreadsheets. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Legal eligibility to work in Qatar.
