Position: ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER - TRADER (FOOD)
A multinational company is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager - Trader (Food). Should have 3-5 years’ experience in Middle East Food Industry Field
Assisting sales of food materials/ products in the Middle East and some African countries under supervision of GM with proactive and action-oriented manner.
Endeavor to support achieving new business and new projects in line with Food Resources, Food Products & Services Division’s direction.
Assisting sales activities of food materials/products, including researching the markets, negotiating with customers with intensive negotiation skill to conclude trading business, creating good relationship with the existing customers to grasp their needs in good manner to maintain/expand the business.
Execution of trading business
Carrying out the risk management of relevant business.
Reporting the market situation and the contract situation in timely manner.
Food materials and Food products suppliers/customers.
Counterpart staff of Head Quarter/Asia Pacific Unit/Europe Middle East and Africa Unit.
Other various members in Food Business Unit and Foods & Retail Business Unit.
Skills / Knowledge:
Very good business communications skills (verbal, writing and listening) in English.
Good team working skills whilst having the ability to work independently.
Advanced command of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel and entertain customers/clients when required.
Knowledge of basic trade transactions, credit management, logistics and basic legal affairs.
Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in food materials and/or food products segments
