Job SummaryE-Commerce Manager is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologiesResponsibilitiesThe eCommerce is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the eCommerce strategyManage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaignsDevelop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishingManage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partnersPartner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organisational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projectsBuild and direct a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop eCommerce solutionsGenerate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitabilityProvide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices and Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organisational thinking.Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusionsDemonstrated strong business judgement and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in information technology, supply chain, business, or related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in eCommerce and Website management, preferably in the FMCG/Retail categoryExperience with B2C and/or B2B eCommerce depending and implementing eCommerce platformsExtensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics Job Skills & TraitsStrong understanding of eCommerce production life cycle managementDemonstrated team-player with a participate, collaborative, open work styleExcellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skillsProven ability to manage production schedules and ensure deadlines are metHistory of working closely with multiple internal teams on complex projectsAble to multi-task multiple projects and timelines simultaneouslyDetail oriented with a focus on accuracy ensuring milestones are met with quality resultsMaintain a sense of urgency and ownership for timely delivery of all project elementsHigh levels of professionalism when interacting with all internal and external partnerstechnical understanding and experience of websites and web technologies and toolsMust be extremely detail-oriented with project management experience and the ability to multi-task and provide world-class customer service while handling high volumes at a fast pace.Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects
