Job Description
Responsibilities and Authorities: · Responsible for: - Manpower planning, including competence mapping and succession plans; budgeting for HR and Payroll costs - Arranging recruitment, training, appraisals, career planning, and professional development plans - Coordinating with Office Managers for induction training of new employees, employee requests etc. - Keeping complete employee files and record keeping as per Document Control procedures - Assessing and developing company culture, core values and beliefs, and internal and external company image - Compiling and analyzing statistics on attendance, sick leave, overtime, turnover, and performance - Coordinating group-wide vacation schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times - Managing employees to go through changes, merges, recessions etc.; sustaining smooth relations between management and employees - Handling of compliance and grievance issues; counseling, medical issues and insurances - Managing employee suggestions, work engagement and loyalty programs, celebrations, sports, events, etc.; designing and implementing employee recognition programs - Reviewing and updating organization charts and job descriptions - Ensuring fair salaries, compensations, benefits, and accommodations - Developing, updating, maintaining, and distributing Employee Handbook - Coordinating with Legal department for Visas, contracts, renewals, government contacts etc. - Keeping updated on changes in laws, regulations, market practices and compensation levels, and draft updates to company polices accordingly - Reviewing, developing, and implementing HR policies and procedures; coordinating with the Quality Manager and HSE Advisor; Studying and evaluating effectiveness of implemented changes - Providing monthly and quarterly reports to the Director of Support Services · Authority to: - Coordinate, supervise, train, and delegate tasks to HR officers and/or Office Managers - Coordinate and delegate company-specific HR-related tasks and issues to the Office Managers - Contact, negotiate, and arrange outsourced services such as training, accommodation, transportation etc.
