1. Organize project in the field and maintain active knowledge of project parameters. 2. Obtain and study the project drawings and specifications. Including scope of work as defined by our contract with the General contractor. Maintain open communication with General contractor and attend project meetings. 3. Maintain record documents and approved submittals. Notify project manager if there are missing submittals. 4. Maintain daily log of potential changes or back charges and unusual circumstances that may warrant attention. Report back charges and change orders to project managers. If project manager agrees to change order then fill out change order request and submit to project manager to include in monthly billings before the 20th of every month. Maintain log of all Change order requests, (COR). 5. Write and submit all requests for information (RFI’s) and maintain log of all RFI’s. 6. Maintain a clean and safe work site. Adhere to and enforce Jet Industries policies and standards. 7. Install HVAC systems to meet local and state codes. 8. Train journeymen, apprentices and laborers. 9. Supervise all Jet personnel that you are responsible for. Report tardiness and disciplinary issues to general manager. Receive approval for overtime before committing employees. Maintain daily record of timesheets for all supervised employees. Submit and sign off on all timesheets before submitting to office. 10. Maintain a positive workplace; coordinate in advance with other trades, especially other Jet divisions. Resolve issues between other Jet divisions before reporting to General contractor. 11. Maintain project schedule and notify General manager of manpower needs every Thursday for the following week. 12. Review materials needed for the job well in advance. Notify Purchasing agent of all materials needed and receive purchase orders for all materials and equipment. When materials arrive on site, review packing list and report any deficiencies. Return packing lists to purchasing agent with timesheets. 13. Notify Project Manager of any items that will improve project productivity. 14. Wear your bags and install as much as you can. Not all jobs are burdened by paperwork.
