Job Description
Job Purpose:To plan, implement and direct the sales activities of the Company to achieve sales objective. He directs team’s focus, set goals, motivates, look at figures, analyze budgets, and determine ways to streamline and improve the sales process. Scope:The position supports Management by contributing to the successful operation of the Retail Showrooms, Cooperatives and Wholesale and implementation of strategies. Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Market Demand, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Staff Training, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets, Staffing. Roles and responsibilities:The primary responsibilities of a Sales Manager are Vendor Management, Pricing & Marketing, and Planning & Stock Replenishment and ControlDetermines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for Each Sales Channels; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Develops a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Key Accounts.Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of new sales leads and prospects.Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans for as needed.Conducts one-on-one review with all Key Account to build more effective communications, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account’s sales and activity performance.Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.Assists in preparation of Sales proposals and presentations and annual Budget.Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.Hiring and training new sales representatives.
